Alpine Heirloom Reclaimed Rustic Wood Platform Bed by Timber Designs
The Alpine Heirloom Platform Bed features aged wood in a European
Countryside design. Chunky rustic posts accent the curved top of the
headboard that sports a rustic barn door look. This bed is constructed
of
reclaimed barnwood and lumber from old, abandoned structures.
The Alpine Heirloom collection is available in your choice of finishes and will be clear coated to protect the furniture for generations. Optionally, you can include a built in trundle which can be designed for a twin size mattress or for additional storage drawers.
All wood is rough sawn, meaning it has not been planed to remove the marks from the original sawing of the timbers, yet care has been taken to leave a smooth, flowing feel to this rustic bed. A seal coat of lacquer and two top coats of conversion varnish are applied to the bed with a hand sanding between each coat for a durable yet natural, rustic look.
