Hickory Open Coffee Table

This traditional rustic style Hickory Open Coffee Table is crafted from bark on kiln dried Hickory logs and finished with a durable clear coat of catalyzed lacquer which gives a surprisingly smooth feel to the textured bark. This handsome table features a combination of mortise and tenoned hickory log trim and supports accenting traditional board case construction. The board top is available with an optional Liquid Glass Finish* for an additional charge. *Liquid Glass: Liquid Glass is a special coating technically known as "SiO2 ultra-thin layering". It is a non-toxic epoxy finish that will protect virtually any surface against almost any damage from hazards such as water, UV radiation, dirt, heat, and bacteria. The flexible and breathable "glass" coating is approximately 100 nanometres thick (500 times thinner than a human hair), and so it is completely undetectable. It is food safe, environmentally friendly (winner of the Green Apple Award) and it can be applied to almost any surface within seconds. These characteristic, along with standing moisture resistance, makes Liquid Glass an ideal coating for bathroom vanities, bartops, coffee tables, desks, and dining tables. Pledge Furniture polish will prolong the life of the surface and clean smudges. Light surface scratches will appear with use overtime.
