Saratoga Reclaimed Rustic Wood Platform Bed by Timber Designs
The Saratoga Platform Bed features a more contemporary yet rustic
headboard constructed of horizontal, reclaimed wood planks and
additional storage drawers in the platform base. This bed is constructed
of
reclaimed barnwood and lumber from old, abandoned structures.
All wood is rough sawn, meaning it has not been planed to remove the marks from the original sawing of the timbers, yet care has been taken to leave a smooth, flowing feel to this rustic bed. A seal coat of lacquer and two top coats of conversion varnish are applied to the bed with a hand sanding between each coat for a durable yet natural, rustic look.
