The 3 piece bunk bed collection comes with the bed in your choice of sizes, matching chest of drawers in your choice of sizes and matching bench in your choice of sizes.
Keeping the American furniture building tradition alive, Timber Designs uses mortise and tenon joinery to provide structural integrity for generations to come. Each log is hand selected for production, carefully sanded to a smooth finish, and sealed with a low sheen catalyzed lacquer finish to preserve the rich, natural beauty of the aspen logs.
Bunk Bed Dimensions:
Note: The design of the bunk bed complies with federal safety standards. It is important that the thickness of the mattress and foundation combined that you use on our bunk beds do not exceed 12 inches. By doing so, it will secure the safety of those sleeping on the top bunk and will allow for plenty of room between the top of the mattress and the top of the guard rails. As a foundation, we recommend using a Bunkie board that you are able to find at your local mattress retailer. Timber Designs' bunk beds are equipped with a built in ladder on the footboard to provide easy access to the top.
Each piece of furniture by Timber Designs will be unique in the logs from which it is built. The aspen logs used by Timber Designs are hand selected for production and have unique characteristics created by nature. Checking is a natural occurrence of log furniture due to the process drying process of the logs. These radial checks / cracks will vary from piece to piece and are not considered a defect or detrimental to the integrity of the furniture. Timber Designs provides a lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship on all their rustic furniture.
