Yukon Rustic Aspen Log & Barnwood Night Stand by Timber Designs
The Yukon Night Stand combines history with nature. Built from rustic
aspen logs, this bed features a bit of history with reclaimed
wood panels and mule deer antler sheds. Logs are hand
selected and sustainably attained in the Wasatch and Uinta
Mountains of Utah for their unique beauty and natural design. The
reclaimed wood has been taken from old barns and structures. Skillfully
handcrafted, each piece tells a unique story of the life of
the
trees from which it is made and will add a rustic feel to your home,
cabin or lodge bedroom.
Keeping the American furniture building tradition alive, Timber Designs uses mortise and tenon joinery to provide structural integrity for generations to come. Each log is hand selected for production, carefully sanded to a smooth finish, and sealed with a low sheen catalyzed lacquer finish to preserve the rich, natural beauty of the aspen logs.
Night Stand Dimensions:
Each piece of furniture by Timber Designs will be unique in the logs from which it is built. The aspen logs used by Timber Designs are hand selected for production and have unique characteristics created by nature. Checking is a natural occurrence of log furniture due to the process drying process of the logs. These radial checks / cracks will vary from piece to piece and are not considered a defect or detrimental to the integrity of the furniture. Timber Designs provides a lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship on all their rustic furniture.

Timber designs uses aspen logs as well as reclaimed wood from barns and old structure to build furniture that will last from generation to generation. Logs are never cut from live trees but rather from dead standing wood in the forests of the Wasatch and Uinta Mountains of Utah. Each log used has its own unique characteristics from knots to “bug art” and no 2 pieces of Timber Designs furniture will ever be exactly the same. Each piece of rustic furniture tells the story of the life of the wood it is made from.
